The Toasters play The Muse on Jan. 21.
New York City ska vets
The Toasters have been credited with bringing the proto-punk/ska sound of England’s “2 Tone” movement to the States. These days, they’re not just getting kudos for predating nearly all of their peers, they’ve outlived a lot of them, too: 2011 marks the band’s 30th year on the scene.
They head to Nashville on Friday, Jan. 21 for a show at
The Muse (835 Fourth Ave. S., 251‑0190). It starts at 7 p.m., and Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 day of show.
